Are you "On the
Way"? |
|
We don't mind muddy walking boots
or wet waterproofs inside the shop. Our outdoor picnic
tables are perfect for a snack lunch and a rest.
We've got plenty of high energy
snack food, also take-away Coffee & Tea, and a microwave you can
use to heat up our cooked pies and pasties - or even a whole
ready meal!
We know the needs of West
Highland Way walkers well -blister plasters, bandages, knee and
ankle supports, muscle rubs, pain killers and even zinc oxide
tape. If you are reading this while researching your walk,
make a note that we have all this - you may be glad of it in the
days ahead! |

Any Questions? |
|
A local tourist information board is
outside the shop, with details of local accommodation and
service providers. This also includes up-to-date
timetables for train and bus services. We are not a
Tourist Information Centre, but do our best to help with any
enquiries our customers have. |

Crianlarich Store is a
family run "Londis" mini-supermarket and Post Office™, in the centre of
the highland village of Crianlarich. The shop underwent a major
extension and complete refurbishment in 2005. We (Bryan and Isla
Craig) have owned and run the shop since 2003, and extend a
friendly welcome to all.
We aim to keep shop prices are very competitive,
and include a range of "Londis" special offers - e.g.
"half-price", "buy one get one free". Our fresh fruit and vegetables come from Glasgow fruit
market several times a week, and we strive to have as
wide a range of fresh produce as possible.
As well as the more usual
groceries, we have a small range of outdoor equipment and carry an
extensive range of first aid necessities. We also sell a
selection of greeting cards and local postcards, some of which are
exclusive to us.
For people passing through, we
sell takeaway tea & coffee and a full range of ready to eat snack foods
- perfect for a picnic on the go. We have a microwave which you
can use to heat up our cooked pies & pasties. The Post Office is located in the
shop. As well as all the traditional services, the Post Office now offers free
cash withdrawals to holders of accounts with participating banks. We sell
a range of padded envelopes and posting boxes, and are happy to help with advice
on the best way to send gifts or other items inland or overseas.
An ATM is available within the store,
which accepts most UK and overseas debit and credit cards (including Mastercard
and Maestro cards)
