or wet waterproofs inside the shop. Our outdoor picnic
tables are perfect for a snack lunch and a rest.
We've got plenty of high energy
snack food, also take-away Coffee & Tea, and a microwave you can
use to heat up our cooked pies and pasties - or even a whole
ready meal!
We know the needs of West
Highland Way walkers well -blister plasters, bandages, knee and
ankle supports, muscle rubs, pain killers and even zinc oxide
tape. If you are reading this while researching your walk,
make a note that we have all this - you may be glad of it in the
days ahead! |

A local tourist information board is
outside the shop, with details of local accommodation and
service providers. This also includes up-to-date
timetables for train and bus services. We are not a
Tourist Information Centre, but do our best to help with any
enquiries our customers have. |

Bridge of Orchy Post Office |
|
We also run the Post Office in
Bridge of Orchy, on Tuesday mornings from 9.30-11.30am.
The Post Office is located in the Church, adjacent to Bridge of
Orchy hotel. We are delighted to bring pre-ordered
groceries to Bridge of Orchy for collection by residents or
locals on a Tuesday morning. |

Grocery Orders
We are delighted to take grocery orders, large
and small from local residents and visitors to the area.
- If you are self-catering
in the area, pre-order your groceries with us, to avoid the hassle of either
transporting large amounts of food, or having to shop as soon as you
arrive. We offer free delivery to self-catering properties in and around Crianlarich,
including Portnellan Highland Lodges, and Crianlarich Youth Hostel, also to
Glengarry Chalet (Tyndrum).
Please be aware that Crianlarich is a beautiful, but remote, village - and
the nearest supermarket is over an hours drive away! We can provide
anything from a small starter pack, to your full weeks groceries.

For those walking the
West Highland Way,
"real" shops are few and far between. We are located exactly half way
along your walk (and, according to many customers, the first "proper" shop
since starting!) Place an order (large or small) with us, and
collect your groceries on arrival in Crianlarich. We are also happy to
provide the necessary requirements for packed lunches - please
contact us
with your requirements.
- For larger groups (eg school parties)
staying at Crianlarich Youth Hostel or the Ochils Climbing Hut, we
will be delighted to help you with all your shopping requirements, and can
arrange to have fresh items (bread, milk, fruit & veg etc.) for collection
daily throughout your stay. Please place an

Crianlarich Store normally closes at 6pm during
the summer. However, for pre-ordered groceries we can arrange for
collection later than this - please let us know when you expect to arrive.
For small orders, payment can be made on
collection, however for larger orders, or those being delivered to your
accommodation we will contact you to request payment card details. Guests
at Portnellan Highland Lodges can can settle their pre-ordered grocery bill at
Portnellan, on arrival or departure.

Fishing Permits |
|
We sell fishing permits covering our local stretch of
the River Fillan (approx 7 miles) as well as the popular Loch Lubhair.
2013 permit prices are as follows:-

OAP/Junior: £3
Week: £20
Season: £40 |
| Beat the Midges! |
| We stock the 2 best midge repellents we know
of - Avon "Skin So Soft" and "Smidge". After trying almost
every repellent available, our practical (if un-scientific)
tests have concluded that these 2 work better than anything
else. |
